Pakistan, Aug. 13 -- A 4.8-magnitude earthquake jolted parts of Balochistan on Wednesday, causing panic among residents. Tremors were felt in Zhob and Chaman, according to officials. The earthquake prompted several residents to leave their homes as they feared stronger tremors. However, authorities reported no casualties or property damage following the earthquake.

According to the seismological centre, the earthquake occurred at a depth of 15 kilometres. Its epicentre was located 122 kilometres northeast of Zhob.
