Pakistan, Sept. 21 -- An earthquake of magnitude 4.5 jolted Khuzdar and nearby areas of Balochistan on Sunday. Residents felt tremors in several parts of the district.

According to the seismological centre, the earthquake was recorded at a depth of 30 kilometres. The tremors were strong enough for residents in Khuzdar and surrounding areas to feel the shaking.

The earthquake's epicentre was located 45 kilometres east of Khuzdar. Authorities monitored the situation after the tremors were reported across the area.
