Pakistan, Aug. 29 -- Four policemen were injured on Saturday after terrorists attacked a police party in Dera Ismail Khan, police said.

The incident occurred in the Hathala area near Pota and Al-Amin Farm House. The police party was reportedly travelling under Deputy Superintendent of Police Kefayat when militants opened fire. Police returned fire, triggering an exchange between the two sides. During the confrontation, the police vehicle overturned, injuring several personnel.

District Police Officer Ziauddin Ahmed confirmed that four policemen were wounded. One officer suffered a bullet injury. However, officials said the condition of all injured policemen was stable and out of danger....
