Pakistan, May 22 -- Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) has said that 35 vessels crossed the Strait of Hormuz within the past 24 hours. The statement added that the ships included oil tankers and container vessels. It claimed the vessels passed after receiving Iranian clearance.

The IRGC said the movement of ships reflects continued maritime activity in the strategic waterway. It did not provide additional details about the nature of the cargo. The Strait of Hormuz remains a key global route for oil and gas shipments.
