Pakistan, Feb. 26 -- Security forces killed 34 India-backed terrorists in a series of intelligence-based operations (IBOs) conducted across Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces over the past few days, the military's media wing said on Wednesday.
According to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), 26 terrorists were killed in four separate engagements in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa on February 24, while eight others were neutralised during an operation in Sambaza area of Zhob district, Balochistan.
The ISPR said security forces detected the movement of a group of terrorists attempting to infiltrate through the Pakistan-Afghanistan border in the general area of Hassan Khel, North Waziristan district.
