Pakistan, Sept. 26 -- Gaza's Government Media Office said 262 Palestinian journalists have been killed since Israel began its military campaign in Gaza in 2023. It added that 433 journalists have also been injured. The office released the figures on the International Day of Solidarity with Palestinian Journalists.

The statement said Palestinian journalists face a campaign of killings and destruction. It described the situation as among the most severe targeting of journalists in modern history.
