Pakistan, May 27 -- In a major boost to Gwadar air connectivity, private airline South Air has officially launched its first test flight service from Karachi to Gwadar, Gwadar Pro reported.
The test flight has landed safely at the New Gwadar International Airport (NGIA). The operational airport supports the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) by facilitating smoother transportation of passengers, goods and services.
According to the schedule at Karachi Airport, the first flight, operating under flight number Z8 905, departed on May 25 (Monday) at 12:00 PM from Karachi. It landed at 3:40 pm at New Gwadar International Airport (NGIA).
