Pakistan, Sept. 21 -- Eighteen suspects arrested over the 2021 assassination of Haitian President Jovenel Moise are being extradited from Haiti to the United States. The move ends a lengthy judicial process in Haiti surrounding the killing.

The suspects will face proceedings in Florida, according to Jason Reding Quinones, US Attorney for the Southern District of Florida. He said US authorities would continue pursuing those allegedly involved in financing, facilitating or carrying out the assassination. Quinones did not identify the suspects.
