Pakistan, July 6 -- Police have completed a large-scale operation to apprehend 14 detainees who escaped from a prison van, successfully arresting all of them.

According to a police spokesperson, the final fugitive, identified as Asad, has also been taken into custody, bringing the search operation to a close.

Police said special teams were formed immediately after the escape to track down the fugitives.

Within 72 hours, 13 of the 14 escapees had already been arrested, while efforts continued to locate the remaining suspect.

With the arrest of the last fugitive, the operation has officially concluded.
