Pakistan, Aug. 2 -- The bodies of 14 Afghan nationals attempting to travel to Iran have been recovered from a desert area in southwestern Afghanistan. Authorities said the group died during their journey through Nimroz province. The incident highlights the risks faced by migrants using dangerous routes.
According to foreign media reports, the individuals had been missing for several weeks. Officials said they were travelling by vehicle toward Iran before their vehicle broke down. They later continued their journey on foot through the desert.
