Pakistan, July 16 -- At least 11 people, including children, were killed after a devastating fire broke out at an orphanage near Algeria capital, Algiers, authorities said.

According to international media reports, the blaze erupted suddenly at the orphanage and spread rapidly through the building, trapping several occupants inside. Emergency responders, firefighters and local residents rushed to the scene to battle the flames and rescue those caught in the fire.
