Pakistan, June 15 -- The indie horror film Obsession is still doing surprisingly big numbers at the box office, even after a few weeks in cinemas.

In its fifth weekend, the film earned another like 19 million dollars in North America, according to Variety.

It only dropped about 25 percent from the previous weekend, which shows it is still holding strong compared to most movies at this stage.

The movie was directed by Curry Barker and was made on a very small budget of under one million dollars.

Despite that, it then turned into a massive global success as it the dark psychological drama opened with 17 million dollars in May and has now reached around 188.3 million dollars in US and about 265 million dollars all over the world.
