Pakistan, May 20 -- Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz inaugurated the Punjab Pavilion at the World Urban Forum being held in Baku and visited various stalls set up at the Urban Expo.

Director General PHATA Zeeshan Sikandar briefed the chief minister on the 'Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar' programme at the pavilion. CM Maryam Nawaz expressed delight after the initiative was ranked among the top global innovations. She also reviewed housing projects being implemented in other developing countries.

The chief minister took a live virtual tour of the 'Apni Chhat, Apna Ghar' programme through interactive i-gadgets and also watched a documentary highlighting the construction journey of the project.
