Dar es Salaam, March 21 -- THIS year, practical cooperation between China and Africa will embrace major favorable policy. Starting May 1, 2026, China will fully implement zero-tariff treatment on 100% of tariff lines for 53 African countries that have established diplomatic relations with China.

This measure covers all product categories and comes with no quotas or political conditions. This unilateral opening-up initiative represents a vivid example of Chinas principle of sincerity, real results, amity, and good faith and its commitment to pursuing the greater good and shared interests.
