BRAZIL, Oct. 7 -- ZANZIBARS young football stars have landed in Brazil, ready to fly the flag at the PQCUPBRASIL 2026 youth tournament.

The 18-player Zanzibar Spice Boys U-13 squad arrived early today at Belo Horizonte/Confins-Tancredo Neves International Airport ahead of the tournament, which runs from October 10-15 in Minas Gerais.

Led by delegation head Ambassador Abdulsamad Abdulrahim, the Spice Boys have been drawn in Group A alongside Clube Minas Gerais, Soccer Pro Betim, Polo Novo Horizonte Rio Vermelho, Vitinho Soccer Itabira and Portuguese side FC Porto.

The young Zanzibaris now face a major test against international opposition, with the tournament offering them valuable competitive experience.
