DODOMA, Aug. 21 -- Yas Fiber has expanded its high-speed internet service to Dodoma, targeting rising demand for reliable connectivity as Tanzanias capital attracts more businesses, institutions and residential developments.

The fibre service is initially available in Ilazo, Ipagala, Swaswa and Mjini Kati, with the company saying it will support households, businesses and institutions relying on online learning, remote work, digital commerce and other internet-based services.

Dodoma District Commissioner Jabir Shekimweri said investment in digital infrastructure was increasingly important as the city expanded.
