DAR ES SALAAM, July 29 -- PREMIER League champions Young Africans said they have spent 15bn/- on players recruitment for the 2026/27 season in a bid to secure a sixth consecutive league title.

The announcement was made by Yanga spokesperson Ali Kamwe while speaking to journalists in Dar es Salaam, where he said the investment was made possible through strong cooperation between the clubs leadership under President, Engineer Hersi Said and the clubs sponsor, Gharib Bilal (GSM).

Kamwe said the new signings are aimed at improving the quality of the squad and making Yanga more competitive in both domestic and international competitions.
