DODOMA, July 16 -- THE construction work at the Dodoma International Stadium has reached 12 per cent, with the projects perimeter works expected to hit 50 per cent completion by December 2026.

The government Spokesperson and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Gerson Msigwa, announced the progress after inspecting the ongoing construction of the stadium at Nzuguni area in Dodoma.

He said the facility, which is designed to accommodate 32,000 spectators upon completion, is being developed to meet international standards and support the growth of sports and entertainment activities in the country.
