DAR ES SALAAM, Oct. 12 -- ZANZIBAR Minister for Community Development, Gender, Elderly and Children, Dr Saada Salum Mkuya, has said Tanzanias Development Vision 2050 is a key tool for promoting gender equality, empowering women and increasing their participation in leadership and decision-making positions.

Speaking today in Dar es Salaam at the Womens Leadership Forum, Dr Mkuya said the vision emphasizes inclusive leadership that creates opportunities for women, young people and persons with disabilities to participate fully in national development.
