DODOMA, Aug. 4 -- THE Weights and Measures Agency (WMA) has reaffirmed its commitment to protecting farmers by ensuring the accuracy of weighing and measuring instruments used throughout the agricultural value chain.

Speaking during the ongoing Nanenane Agricultural Exhibition in Dodoma, WMA Director of Business Support Services, Christopher Mwakibinga, said accurate measurements are essential in ensuring farmers receive the true value of their produce.

He said the agencys work is directly linked to the agricultural value chain, ranging from irrigation and production to processing and marketing of agricultural commodities.
