With 100bn US dollars envisioned, Tanzania sees medical tourism as a key in economic growth
DODOMA, May 21 -- THE Tanzanian government has taken steps to strengthen the medical tourism sector, which is expected to increase the contribution of the health sector to the countrys economic growth as well as attract patients from various countries in Africa and the world in general.
The Coordinator of Medical Tourism at the Ministry of Health, Dr Asha Mahita said this today at the Annual General Meeting of Leading Nurses held in the Dodoma region.
