WCO meeting calls for efficient tax, customs systems in driving sustainable economy
ZANZIBAR, May 16 -- THE Golden Tulip Airport Hotel in Zanzibar this week became a hub for regional customs and trade dialogue as delegates gathered for the World Customs Organization (WCO) Eastern and Southern Africa (ESA) Regional Meetings, including the 32nd ESA Governing Council session.
The official opening ceremony was graced by the3 Minister of Finance, Ambassador Khamis Mussa Omar, alongside senior officials from the Tanzania Revenue Authority (TRA) and representatives from member states across the region.
