ARUSHA, Sept. 29 -- VICE President Deogratius Ndejembi has visited Mount Meru Regional Referral Hospital in Arusha to assess the provision of healthcare services and hear the challenges facing patients and hospital staff.

Upon arrival at the hospital, the Vice President was received by hospital leaders and staff, who briefed him on the facilitys development, performance and services before he toured various wards and spoke with patients receiving treatment.

Addressing patients admitted to the hospital, Ndejembi expressed sympathy for their health conditions and conveyed greetings from President Samia Suluhu Hassan.
