DAR ES SALAAM, Sept. 4 -- THE Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) Director General, Anthony Kasore has asked parents and guardians to stop portraying vocational training as an option for children who have failed in primary or secondary education.

Speaking to media outlets in Dar es Salaam today, September 4, 2026, the VETA Director General said society should instead recognise vocational education as a vital pathway for equipping young people with practical skills capable of enabling them to secure employment or create their own jobs.
