ZANZIBAR, Aug. 15 -- The Vocational Education and Training Authority (VETA) and the Vocational Training Authority (VTA) Zanzibar are set to deepen cooperation to expand access to quality vocational education and practical skills training across Tanzania.

VETA Director General, CPA Anthony Kasore, said the partnership was critical in ensuring that vocational training equips citizens with practical skills needed to participate effectively in economic and social activities.

Mr Kasore made the remarks on friday after visiting VETA and VTA exhibition booths during the Kizimkazi Festival held at Dimbani grounds in South Unguja, Zanzibar.
