NGORONGORO, April 24 -- THE Ugandan government, led by the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Tourism, Wildlife and Natural Resources, Doreen Katusiime, has continued a training tour to gain experience on how Tanzania has succeeded in implementing projects to combat poaching and illegal wildlife trade
The team is in Tanzania where it has visited the Ngorongoro Conservation Area to obtain information on the Serengeti North project to combat poaching and illegal wildlife trade using an integrated approach, a project implemented under the Ngorongoro Conservation Area Authority as one of the programs being carried out under the Anti-Poaching and Illegal Wildlife Trade (IWT Project).
