NAIROBI, April 10 -- TANZANIAN golfers produced a spirited and competitive showing at the Sunshine Development Tour (SDT) East Africa Swing Qualifying School, which concluded yesterday at Limuru Country Club in Kenya.

Facing a strong international field, the countrys representatives demonstrated resilience and promise, with several players finishing in respectable positions after three days of intense competition.

Professional Isaac Wanyeche emerged as one of Tanzanias standout performers, finishing tied for seventh place with a total score of 227.

Wanyeche had looked set to challenge for the title after an impressive start, opening with a 73 before surging with a superb 70 in the second round.
