DAR ES SALAAM, July 3 -- THE Tanzania Telecommunications Corporation (TTCL) has invested a total of 903m/- in six new vehicles to strengthen the management of the National ICT Broadband Backbone and improve the efficiency of its technical operations as part of efforts to enhance service delivery across the country.

The vehicles were handed over at TTCL headquarters in Dar es Salaam to the National ICT Broadband Backbone Manager, the Network Operations and Maintenance Manager and the Network Planning Manager.

The handover fulfills a commitment made by TTCL Director General, Moremi Marwa on April 29 this year to continue investing in working tools to improve the corporations productivity and operational efficiency.
