DAR ES SALAAM, Jan. 3 -- TANZANIA Railways Corporation (TRC) has officially released the new Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) timetable between Dar es Salaam and Dodoma, effective January 3, 2026.

According to a statement issued by the corporation earlier on Saturday, the timetable is as follows.

For Express trains, from Dar es Salaam to Dodoma, the train leaves at 06:00 am, arrives at Morogoro at 7:40 am, and reaches Dodoma at 9:42 am, and from Dodoma, the train leaves at 05:15 am, arrives at Morogoro at 7:12 am, and reaches Dar es Salaam at 8:53 am.

On the Electric Multiple Unit (EMU) trains, popularly known as Mchongoko, from Dar es Salaam to Dodoma the train will leave at 8:00 am, arrive Morogoro at 9:25 to depart at 9:30, and reach Do...
