KIBAHA, April 2 -- The government has warned that transport operators who participated in the strike in Mbeya risk facing strict legal action, including suspension of their operating licenses, for violating service regulations.

The remark was made by the Land Transport Regulatory Authority (LATRA) Director General, Habibu Suluo during the press briefing in Kibaha,Coast Region.

The move comes two days after the Energy and Water Utilities Regulatory Authority (EWURA) announced an increase in fuel prices by more than 900/- per litre from 2864 to 3820.
