NAIROBI, Oct. 21 -- BUSINESSES in Tanzania, Kenya and Uganda are expected to benefit from expanded market access, investment opportunities and commercial partnerships following the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Tanzania National Chamber of Commerce (TNCC), the Kenya National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (KNCCI), and the Uganda National Chamber of Commerce and Industry (UNCCI).

The agreement aims to expand markets for goods and services, strengthen value chains and address barriers affecting cross-border trade among the three countries.

Small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), women and young entrepreneurs are among the key groups expected to benefit from the new opportunities.
