DODOMA, Oct. 4 -- THE Tanzania Commission for Universities (TCU) has opened the third and final round of undergraduate admissions for the 2026/2027 academic year, giving prospective students another opportunity to secure places in degree programmes with available vacancies.

The admission window runs from October 3 to 9, 2026, following the completion of the first and second admission rounds.

TCU Executive Secretary, Professor Charles Kihampa, said the decision followed requests from applicants who were unsuccessful in earlier rounds, as well as appeals from universities and other higher learning institutions that still had vacancies in some programmes.
