MWANZA, Sept. 21 -- TRADERS at Kirumba International Fish Market in Mwanza have been urged to comply with tax and levy requirements to strengthen public revenue and support improvements at the major fish trading hub.

Mwanza Regional Commissioner (RC), CP Salum Hamduni, made the call yesterday when he addressed traders at the market, which contributes about 11 per cent of Ilemela Municipal Councils total revenue.

“Paying levies and taxes is a crucial part of enabling the government to continue providing services and improving infrastructure in business areas,” he said.
