DAR ES SALAAM, Nov. 2 -- TANZANIAN beauty queen Eva Godwin has been crowned Miss Africa International 2026 at a pageant held in Nigeria, adding to the growing list of international beauty titles won by Tanzanian contestants this year.

Evas victory was announced in the early hours of November 2, 2026, drawing congratulatory messages from various stakeholders in the beauty industry, including Miss Grand Tanzania Director Nazimizye Adam Mdolo, who was part of the team involved in preparing her for the competition.

Her achievement continues Tanzanias strong performance in international beauty pageants this year, following Jihan Dimacks victory in the Miss Grand International 2026 competition held in Thailand.
