DAR ES SALAAM, Aug. 4 -- THE Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, has held a farewell meeting with the European Union Ambassador to Tanzania, Christine Grau, following the completion of her diplomatic tenure in the country.

During their discussions, Ambassador Kombo commended Ambassador Grau for her contribution to strengthening relations between Tanzania and the European Union, particularly in the areas of development cooperation, trade and investment, implementation of the Global Gateway initiative, private sector development, and the promotion of open dialogue between the two sides.
