PARIS, May 22 -- TANZANIA has begun talks with France about efforts to strengthen its footprint in the global film industry.

This was reached during discussion between Tanzanias Ambassador to France, Saidi Yakubu, with senior officials of the Cannes Film Festival in France to discuss ways of enhancing Tanzanias participation in one of the worlds most influential film platforms, with a focus on expanding opportunities for local filmmakers and creatives.
