DODOMA, March 30 -- THE Tanzanian government has distributed ICT equipment worth over 769m/- to 19 primary and secondary schools across nine regions in the country as part of its ongoing commitment to strengthen the education sector.
The regions are, Dodoma, Iringa, Ruvuma, Arusha, Geita, Kilimanjaro, Mbeya, Mtwara and South Unguja.
Speaking during the handover ceremony in Dodoma region today,March 30, 2026, the Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Wanu Hafidh Ameir noted that the equipment is expected to improve students understanding by giving them opportunities to learn through practical experience and visual learning, especially in science and technology subjects.
