DODOMA, Aug. 12 -- THE Minister for Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation, Mr Mahmoud Thabit Kombo, has said Tanzanias diplomatic missions around the world have played a critical role in facilitating and driving the governments achievements across various sectors, including agriculture, transport, trade and energy.

Ambassador Kombo made the remarks on August 11, 2026, during a meeting between the Parliamentary Standing Committee on Foreign Affairs, Defence and Security (NUU) and the management of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and East African Cooperation. The meeting was held at the Parliament premises in Dodoma under the chairmanship of the Committees Chairperson, Najma Murtaza Giga.
