MOROGORO, Aug. 24 -- MOROGORO is set to become a showcase of Tanzanias rich cultural diversity as the Fourth National Cultural Festival brings together cultural groups, artists, entrepreneurs, young people and visitors for five days of celebrations from August 25 to 29.

The festival, whose official opening will take place at Jamhuri Stadium on Wednesday, will feature more than 120 activities celebrating Tanzanias traditions, arts, food, music, fashion and heritage.

The Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Information, Culture, Arts and Sports and Government Spokesperson, Gerson Msigwa, told reporters in Morogoro yesterday that the festival aims to promote culture while creating opportunities for Tanzanians.
