DAR ES SALAAM, March 6 -- TANZANIA has stepped up preparations to maximise opportunities linked to the upcoming 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), with the Deputy Minister for Information, Culture, Arts and Sports, Hamis Mwinjuma (pictured), holding strategic discussions with stakeholders from the sports and entertainment sectors in Dar es Salaam.

The meetings, early this week, at the Liberation Heritage Centre, brought together key players from the sports and entertainment industries to explore the wide range of opportunities expected ahead of the prestigious continental football tournament.
