Dar es Salaam, June 10 -- TANZANIA has outlined progress in strengthening disability rights frameworks at the 19th Session of the Conference of States Parties to the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (COSP19), held at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.

The Deputy Minister for Community Development, Gender, Women and Special Groups, Engineer Maryprisca Mahindi, said Tanzania has reinforced legal, policy and institutional systems to guarantee equal rights, opportunities and access to services for persons with disabilities.
