DODOMA, June 18 -- PUBLIC Service Week has opened in Dodoma with a renewed push for accountability, digital systems, and better delivery of government services.

The week long event, launched at Chinangali Park by Minister of State in the Presidents Office for Public Service Management and Good Governance Ridhwani Jakaya Kikwete, brings together more than 200 public institutions showcasing services, reforms, and innovations.

Kikwete said the initiative is designed to strengthen direct engagement between citizens and public institutions while pushing accountability as a core measure of service delivery.
