DAR ES SALAAM, May 15 -- Salome Makamba has said the Government will continue creating a favorable environment for investors in transportation, industry, agriculture, and other services to ensure the energy sector remains competitive and beneficial to citizens.

Speaking in Dar es Salaam during the launch of the Pris App System by Puma Energy, Makamba said the energy sector is a key driver of the economy, supporting national growth through the expansion of fuel distribution stations, investment in clean energy, and digital innovation.

She added that the launch of the system aligns directly with Tanzanias Digital Economy Strategic Framework (DESF) 2024–2034, which aims to position Tanzania as a leading digital economy hub in Africa....
