DODOMA, June 8 -- DEPUTY Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism, Hamad Hassan Chande has said the government will continue to recognize and collaborate with the Tanzania Association of Porters (TAP) as an important stakeholder in guiding tourists for the broader interests of the community and the nation as a whole in promoting and developing the tourism sector in the country

Chande said this today in the 13th Parliament, Third Session, 45th Session, while responding to a question by Moshi Urban Constituency Member of Parliament, Ibrahim Mohamed Shayo (CCM), who wanted to know the Governments plan to recognize the association and involve it as an important tourism stakeholder in the country
