DODOMA, Sept. 18 -- THE National Carbon Monitoring Centre (NCMC) has been directed to educate the public on its new carbon trading registration system to enable citizens to understand and use it with ease.

The directive was issued by the Permanent Secretary in the Vice-Presidents Office, Dr Richard Muyungi, on September 17, 2026, during a meeting with NCMC management at the centres offices in Mtumba, Dodoma where he noted that public awareness is essential to ensure citizens have accurate information on opportunities, procedures and systems governing carbon trading in Tanzania.
