DAR ES SALAAM, March 7 -- THE Tanzanian government said preparations for the Africa Cup of Nations 2027 are progressing well, with significant efforts underway to ensure stadium infrastructure is completed on time.

The assurance was made today by the Deputy Minister of the ministry, Hamis Mwinjuma, after inspecting the ongoing  renovation works at Benjamin Mkapa and Uhuru Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

Mwinjuma said the government continues to invest heavily in the construction and renovation of sports infrastructure to ensure that Tanzania is fully prepared to host the continents major football tournament.
