Tanzania notes good progress in the 35.4bn/- Mkinga Water project
DODOMA, April 8 -- THE Tanzanian government has reported steady progress in the Mkinga–Horohoro water project, valued at 35.4bn/-in its efforts to improve access to safe and clean water for residents of Mkinga District in Tanga Region.
This was stated in Parliament in Dodoma by Deputy Minister for Water, Kundo Mathew, while responding to a question from Mkinga Constituency Member of Parliament, Twaha Mwakioja, who sought to know when residents would begin benefiting from the Tanga–Horohoro water project.
