DAR ES SALAAM, May 18 -- STAKEHOLDERS of the insurance sector have continued providing education to students through the “Bima Debate” competition, organized as part of preparations for Insurance Day celebrations scheduled to begin on June 26, 2026, in Arusha.

The competition brought together secondary school and university students from various institutions with the aim of increasing awareness about the importance of insurance in everyday life.

Speaking at the event, the Eastern Zone Manager of the Tanzania Insurance Regulatory Authority, Zakaria Muyengi, said the insurance sector still requires extensive public education so that more citizens can understand its benefits and actively participate in insurance services.
