Tanzania increases investments in educational infrastructure to improve learning environment in its schools
DODOMA, June 16 -- THE Tanzanian government has continued implementing measures to improve learning environments for students across the country through investments in educational infrastructure, including the construction and renovation of dormitories, classrooms, laboratories, libraries, and sanitation facilities in various learning institutions.
Responding to a question in Parliament in Dodoma today, June 16, 2026, the Deputy Minister for Education, Science and Technology Wanu Hafidh Ameir said the government is strengthening accommodation infrastructure in higher learning institutions to ensure students have safe, conducive, and supportive environments for their studies.
