MANYARA, June 12 -- THE Minister for Minerals, Anthony Mavunde, has held talks with the Managing Director of the Australian Marvel Gold Company, Timothy Strong, where he received information on the progress of the initial stages of the gold mine project being developed in Hanang District, Manyara Region.

Speaking at the meeting in Dodoma, Strong said that the company is grateful to the Government of Tanzania for continuing to create an enabling environment that made it possible to make the investment a success.
